I’ve found a locally made cleaning product that I love (and the environment loves it too)! @goodnaturedbrand makes a lavender surface cleaner and an eucalyptus lemon upholstery cleaner that I will definitely be buying more of. I found the product at Hannaford Supermarkets but there are other ways to buy and learn more. You can learn more about their story and products through the Good Natured website which has links to their products, sold on Amazon.
Chase Street Soap Co.
“Get Dirty and Use Soap” is the Chase Street Soap Co. motto. I’ve never been a bar soap kind of girl until I tried this soap. The soap is made from all natural ingredients and oils so the skin stays smooth and doesn’t dry out (not that squeaky clean feeling I hate).
The owner Jessica keeps it natural and simple– She uses sustainable and biodegradable ingredients and conscience packaging. In addition to soap for humans, they make and sell insect repellant, a salve for skin irritations, laundry detergent, and soap for dogs! Check out their Instagram page at @chasestreetsoap. You can buy directly from their website or find her at one of many traveling soap shows.
Governor Baxter Dog Beds
Did you know there is a quality dog bed made in Maine by @governorbaxter. You can find out more information on their website governorbaxter.com.
The dog bed is hypoallergenic, antimicrobial, and filled with compostable material derived from trees. The bed liner is made sustainably from peace silk cocoons (after the silkworm has exited). They also make picnic blankets, an outdoor game called Lawn Dots, and Fist Mitts (think mittens with no thumbs).
