We look at what motivates them, and the challenges they face. These brave makers share the good, the bad and the not always pretty journey that lead them to where they are today.

Nichole Crandall is the host of Make Love Maine. She moved to Maine over a decade ago and quickly fell in love with the beauty of Maine, the industriousness of Mainers and decided to grow roots. She lives in Greater Portland with her husband, daughter, and the entourage of animals on their small homestead.
